We are seeking an experienced and professional Family Assistant (Nanny /Housekeeper/PA) to support a busy household with three delightful children (17, 7 & 4 years old) and two outdoor, friendly German Shepherd puppies.
With their long-standing Family Assistant moving on after six years this warm and welcoming family is a seeking a committed and professional, for a long-term role. This dynamic role is perfect for someone who has a caring and nurturing nature and can communicate well with the children and parents alike, someone that thrives in a varied position, and enjoys cooking and takes pride in maintaining an organised and harmonious home. The role offers a blend of childcare, household duties and household management, includes running errands and administration duties such as booking travel, booking appointments etc, making it ideal for someone who is adaptable, proactive, and enjoys purpose in their daily tasks.
You will ideally have a childcare qualification and have 2 + years working in a private household in a similar role, someone with yachting experience would be highly regarded.  There is also a possibility of a live-in option for the right candidate. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide care for their two younger children aged 7 and 4 years, including school pick-up, extracurricular activities, and engaging in age appropriate and educational activities
• Assist with daily routines: bathing, dressing, organising uniforms etc
• Household duties, daily reset of the home, including bed-making, weekly linen changes, laundry (inc. ironing), mopping and vacuuming, tidying the kitchen and bathroom and pantry/fridge organisation.
• Prepare healthy family meals and snacks, healthy homestyle cooking skills required.
• Errands such as groceries, personal shopping, dry cleaning, post office, butcher, vet visits, and school uniform purchases.
• Restock household supplies
• Manage household administration: booking travel, car servicing, appointments, and pet care.
• Occasional babysitting and flexible Saturday work (approx. once a month)
• Care for two affectionate German Shepherd puppies.
• Potential for overseas travel with the family.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a private household.
• Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record (family vehicle provided for errands).
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to maintain structure and routines in a busy family home.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, nurturing personality with a proactive approach.
• A background in teaching and someone well-travelled is preferred but not essential
• Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Police Check required.
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).

Job Conditions:

• Monday to Friday: 10:00am – 5:30pm during school terms, 8:30am – 5:00pm during school holidays.
• Flexibility required during school holidays and key family events.
• Occasional Saturday work (1 day/month) with advance notice.
• 40 hours per week, excellent salary for the right candidate plus superannuation and  annual leave etc.
