PART TIME EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER - BRISBANE

We are seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper who is proactive, flexible, and reliable to manage the daily operations of a wonderful family home in Shorncliffe, Brisbane.

This role offers 25 hours per week across 4-5 days, providing flexibility for the right candidate. This busy household includes working parents, their 9-year-old daughter, and several pets—three dogs, chickens, and fish—making this a great opportunity for an animal lover.

The family’s spacious Queenslander provides a beautiful working environment for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. While housekeeping is the primary focus, occasional meal preparation, errands, and school pick-ups may be required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the household
  • Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, tidying rooms, ensuring kitchen is clean and tidy, weekly fridge clean.
  • Bathrooms cleaned and weekly linen changes.
  • Wardrobe management (there is a weekly ironing lady already employed)
  • On occasions, carry out personal errands, assist with grocery shopping and meal prep, school pickup and babysitting (if required)
  • Assist with pet care – feeding etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Lives within close proximity to Shorncliffe.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work

independently.

  • Strong communication and ability to prioritise tasks, be proactive and manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable around animals and able to assist with pet care.
  • Must have own car and a clean driver’s license.
  • National Police check
  • WWCC (Working with Children Card)
  • Excellent contactable references
  • Candidates MUST HAVE full working rights in Australia.   

JOB CONDITIONS:

  • 25 hours per week over 4-5 days
  • Any additional hours with be paid separately
  • Great hourly rate
  • ABN number required
  • Travel cost contribution for errands.
