We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Gardener/Arborist/Landscaper to oversee the maintenance and enhancement of a large property in Noosa.
This role requires experience in not only landscaping and gardening but also property management, where you will provide guidance and suitable ideas to elevate the beauty and functionality of our clients grounds. Patience and a discerning eye for detail are essential qualities for this role.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
- Designing and implementing landscaping plans to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the property
- Regularly maintaining gardens, lawns, trees, and other outdoor areas of the property
- Providing expert advice and recommendations on plant selection, garden design, and outdoor amenities
- Conducting assessments of the property's outdoor areas and identifying areas for improvement and notifying the client
- Managing irrigation systems, ensuring proper watering and maintenance of plant health
- Performing routine tree care, including pruning, trimming, and disease management
- Sourcing and overseeing contractors for specialized projects when necessary
- Adhering to safety standards and regulations while working on the property
CANDIDATES REQUIREMENTS
- In-depth knowledge plants, trees, and horticulture and landscape design principles
- Adhering to safety standards and regulations while working on the property
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with property owners, contractors and other team members.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining garden equipment and tools
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating and maintaning beautiful outdoor spaces
- Other skills in which to maintain the property will be highly regarded
- Must be a team player
