We are searching for an experienced Governess for a German Family with 3 lovely children, based in Dubai. They are looking for someone that can focus on the development and education of the children whilst providing a fun, caring, safe and nurturing environment.
You will ideally be a Primary or Nursery educated Governess with previous experience in a teaching role or a similar role. Someone with SEN experience (Speech delay) would be highly regarded but not essential.
You must be a Native English speaker and ideally speak a second language (German, Spanish or French) work well within a team and love to travel.
DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES
- Professional Governess to support the care and development of 3 children aged 17 months, 3 & 8 years oldOrganise age-appropriate activities for the children which are creative and fun
- Assist and support the children with school projects, homework and learning development
- Pick and drop the 2 older children to and from nursery and school
- Plan and participate with the children in after-school activities, therapy sessions for the 3 year old and play dates
- Take the children to the swimming pool and swim with them
- Prepare healthy meals for the children, including snacks and lunchboxes
- Work in a team with one other nanny and other household staff
CANIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years experience working with toddlers and school age children
- Ideally teaching qualifications
- Native English, German, French or Arabic speaking
- Travel with the family to Germany and other destinations will be required
- Confident swimmer
- Clean UAE driver’s license (or driver’s license that can be converted to UAE)
JOB CONDITIONS
